Angela Sargsyan grew up in Yerevan in Armenia. She was born there on December 16, 1982. Angela liked sports and was active from the age of three. As a child she was swimming, as early as age three. She also began skating. She continued figure skating through the age of thirteen. Angela studied karate quickly after giving up figure skating. In 1996 she earned another medal at the Armenian Youth Full Contact Karate Championships which were held at Yerevan Armenia. Angela's enthusiasm for sport hasn't diminished and she still enjoys living a balanced lifestyle which involves exercise on a daily schedule and eating healthy.
