Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in America for more than 40 years. Most famously, she is known for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her stage career began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Later, in 1956, she got her first big break on Broadway along with Li'l abner. In the year 1957, she made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous hit and Louise earned her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationships and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise maintained a successful career balancing Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years, she's also become an acclaimed director of well-known TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28 in 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the lead role.
